Lukoil, a Russian energy giant, has called on Bulgaria to refrain from obstructing the sale of its sanctioned assets within the country. The company previously held a near-monopoly in Bulgaria through an extensive network of oil depots, petrol stations, and firms supplying ships and aircraft. This move comes amid ongoing tensions over Russia’s energy sector and Western sanctions.
