US-BACKED Gaza Aid Group Completes Mission, Transfers Work to International Organizations

The U.S.-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) has concluded its mission in the Gaza Strip, having delivered over 187 million free meals to Palestinians and transitioning its operations to other aid organizations. The organization, which operated without reported incidents of aid theft by Hamas, has claimed its model of delivering aid without looting or diversion has been successful.

GHF Executive Director John Acree stated that the organization will hand over its success to the international community, highlighting the effectiveness of its approach in meeting the urgent needs of the Gazan population. The foundation launched its operation on May 26 to ensure meals reached the Gazan population and to prevent Hamas terrorists from looting goods.
