The Ukrainian I-Gaming industry has faced a dramatic drop in revenue, with the market’s total earnings reaching UAH 47.6 billion during the first nine months of 2025, compared to UAH 59.6 billion in the full year of 2024. This sharp decline has raised significant concerns within the sector, prompting the Association of Ukrainian Gambling Operators (AUGO) to issue a press release on Monday that outlines the severe challenges the industry is encountering.
According to AUGO, the third quarter alone generated UAH 20.5 billion, but the fourth quarter is expected to be particularly difficult due to the increased administrative pressure on licensed operators. These regulatory actions are perceived as a major factor in the industry’s financial downturn, as they have led to heightened costs and operational constraints for companies involved in the I-Gaming sector.
The organization has called for greater clarity and stability in the regulatory environment, emphasizing the potential long-term impact of these measures on the industry’s growth and profitability. AUGO’s warning signals a broader trend of regulatory scrutiny in the gaming sector, which could have far-reaching implications for both operators and consumers in Ukraine.
