Deputy Prime Minister Tetiana Berezhna and Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Olena Kovalska met with representatives of ARTE France to explore strategies for launching a Ukrainian-language version of the channel and to identify opportunities for deeper collaboration between the two nations.
The meeting focused on the mechanisms for accelerating the launch of the Ukrainian-language version of the ARTE channel. Both parties expressed commitment to enhancing cultural exchange and promoting Ukrainian content on an international platform. The collaboration aims to strengthen ties between Ukraine and France through media and cultural diplomacy.
ARTE France, a public international broadcaster, has been supporting Ukrainian media initiatives since the outbreak of the war. The proposed Ukrainian-language version of the channel is expected to provide a platform for Ukrainian journalists, artists, and creators to reach a global audience.
Berezhna emphasized the importance of international cooperation in preserving and promoting Ukrainian culture. She highlighted that the partnership with ARTE France would not only enhance Ukraine’s global visibility but also foster a sense of solidarity with international audiences interested in Ukrainian culture and current events.
The discussions also touched upon potential areas for further collaboration beyond the channel launch, including educational programs and joint projects that could benefit both countries’ citizens.
