Five members of the Proud Boys are suing the U.S. government and certain employees in the FBI and Department of Justice for $100 million over their Jan. 6 prosecutions. The lawsuit alleges that the government used evidence tampering, witness intimidation, and other illegal tactics to target and imprison Jan. 6 defendants. The defendants, including former leader Enrique Tarrio, were convicted of seditious conspiracy and received prison sentences ranging from 10 to 22 years.
