Recent archaeological excavations in Switzerland took a somber turn when historians uncovered a collection of infant burials dating back to Ancient Rome, along with various other artifacts. The excavation, initiated in May as part of a project to make way for three new apartment buildings in the Schürmatt district of Kaiseraugst, the Canton of Aargau, revealed a grim and significant discovery.
