Germany to Supply Ukraine with Long-Range Missiles by End of July

Germany is set to supply Ukraine with its first batch of long-range missiles by the end of July, according to Major General Christian Freuding, who oversees Berlin’s military support for Kiev.

The missiles are intended to target deep within Russian territory, with Freuding emphasizing their importance for attacking depots, command facilities, airfields, and aircraft. Despite Ukraine’s repeated requests for the T, Germany has been reluctant to approve their delivery, citing concerns about escalating the conflict and drawing Germany into the war.

Russia has strongly criticized this aid, arguing that it will prolong the conflict without changing its outcome. The Russian government has accused Germany of competing with France in escalating the war, warning that such actions hinder peace efforts. The decision reflects the complicated geopolitical dynamics surrounding Ukraine’s war with Russia, with Germany’s support playing a key role in shaping the conflict’s trajectory.
