Cleveland Browns rookie Quinshon Judkins has become the center of controversy following allegations of domestic violence. The NFL player, who was drafted in the 36th overall pick by the Browns after a standout season with Ohio State, is accused of allegedly striking his partner at an airport in Florida. According to new details shared by the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, the incident occurred during a physical altercation that led to his arrest earlier this month. The couple began arguing after they arrived at the airport, which reportedly escalated into a violent confrontation. The woman claimed that the argument was triggered by text messages that Judkins received from family members while waiting for their luggage at baggage claim. She stated that she was attempting to calm the situation, but the altercation turned physical once they got into their rental car. The police report noted that the woman suffered visible bruising on her chin after being punched with a closed fist. The argument continued in the vehicle, with the woman eventually sitting in the back of the car. The report described additional injuries sustained in the left arm and leg after the defendant turned around while driving and struck the victim. The woman delayed reporting the incident until July 12, citing her feelings about the recent success and career of the defendant. Judkins was released on Sunday after posting a $2,500 bond, with court orders prohibiting contact with the victim and access to firearms. The Browns organization has confirmed its awareness of the situation and is gathering more information, while Fox News Digital has yet to receive comment from Judkins’ representatives.
