Ukrainian Red Cross Provides Over 9,000 Rehabilitation Sessions in 18 Months

The Ukrainian Red Cross Society’s mobile rehabilitation teams have delivered nearly 9,000 rehabilitation sessions to patients over the course of 18 months, providing critical support to individuals recovering from injuries and illnesses related to the ongoing conflict. These efforts represent a vital component of the organization’s broader humanitarian mission.

Operating in mobile units, the teams have been able to reach remote and hard-to-access areas, ensuring that individuals receive the medical rehabilitation they need. The scale of the initiative reflects the growing demand for post-conflict health services in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Red Cross Society has emphasized the importance of these rehabilitation efforts in helping individuals regain mobility and independence, which are essential for long-term recovery and reintegration into society. This program underscores the organization’s commitment to addressing the complex health needs arising from the conflict.
