In a significant counterintelligence operation, Ukrainian authorities have arrested a Belarusian KGB agent suspected of gathering intelligence on the defense of Ukraine’s northern border. The agent was apprehended in the Volyn region, where the SBU’s counterintelligence division thwarted the efforts of Belarusian special services to obtain critical military data.
