Lifecell Expands Fiber Network Connectivity in Ukraine

Ukrainian mobile operator Lifecell, a key player within the DVL Group (which includes Datagroup, Volia, and Lifecell), has successfully connected 350 base stations to Datagroup’s fiber-optic network. This marks a significant milestone in the company’s strategy to enhance its network infrastructure and improve the quality of service across Ukraine. Lifecell aims to expand this number to 800 by the end of 2025, signaling a long-term commitment to modernizing the telecommunications landscape in the country.

The expansion of the fiber-optic network is expected to bring numerous benefits, including faster internet speeds, improved connectivity in rural and urban areas, and enhanced reliability of mobile services. As a subsidiary of Datagroup, Lifecell’s efforts align with the broader goals of the DVL Group to invest in advanced telecommunications technologies and ensure competitive service offerings in the Ukrainian market.

By integrating more base stations into the fiber-optic network, Lifecell aims to strengthen its market position and better serve both individual customers and businesses. This development could also contribute to the overall digital transformation of Ukraine, supporting economic growth and technological innovation.
