Ukrtelecom, the leading fixed-line operator in Ukraine, has disclosed its financial performance for the first half of 2025, revealing a significant 7.4% increase in revenue compared to the same period in 2024. The company reported a total revenue of nearly UAH 2.47 billion, surpassing the UAH 2.3 billion recorded in January-June 2024. This growth can be attributed to the company’s strategic investments in network expansion and enhanced service offerings that have attracted more customers.
However, alongside the revenue growth, Ukrtelecom also reported a 12.9% decrease in EBITDA, which highlights the company’s focus on optimizing operational costs. The reduction in EBITDA suggests that Ukrtelecom has implemented cost-cutting initiatives that have led to improved financial efficiency. The company’s ability to balance revenue growth with cost management is a positive indicator for its long-term sustainability and competitiveness in the Ukrainian telecommunications market.
