Ukrainian Prosecutor General to Audit Business-Related Cases

Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko has announced his intention to conduct an audit of criminal cases related to Ukrainian businesses. The initiative is part of broader efforts to enhance transparency and combat corruption within the legal system. Kravchenko emphasized that the audit is necessary to ensure that business-related prosecutions are conducted fairly and without undue influence.

The decision comes amid increasing public and international scrutiny of the Ukrainian judiciary’s handling of business-related cases. Critics have raised concerns that some prosecutions may be politically motivated or influenced by external interests, potentially harming the country’s business environment. Kravchenko’s announcement is seen as a step toward restoring public confidence in the legal process and protecting the rights of business entities.
