Ukrainian Red Cross Volunteers Assist in Post-Attack Recovery in Kyiv

Over 20 volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) have been called in to help eliminate the consequences of the Russian massive combined air attack on the night of August 28. The volunteers are working with local authorities and international aid organizations to provide emergency assistance, including medical care, shelter, and food to those impacted by the attack.

The attack, which targeted key infrastructure in Kyiv, has led to widespread damage and displacement of civilians. The Ukrainian Red Cross is deploying resources and personnel to address the immediate needs of the affected population, ensuring that essential services are maintained during the recovery period. This collaboration highlights the critical role of humanitarian organizations in times of conflict.

Local officials have expressed gratitude for the swift response of the URCS volunteers, emphasizing the importance of international solidarity in supporting Ukraine’s war efforts. The ongoing recovery operations are part of a broader effort to stabilize the region and restore normalcy amid the ongoing conflict.
