Former DNC Insider Alleges White House Cover-Up of Biden’s Cognitive Decline

While Republicans on the House Oversight Committee have begun questioning former President Joe Biden’s Cabinet members about the alleged cover-up of his cognitive decline, a former Democratic National Committee (DNC) insider has claimed she possesses a trove of information. In a wide-ranging exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, Lindy Li, a former DNC fundraiser and National Finance Committee member, detailed her insider perspective on the Biden presidency and the individuals believed to have orchestrated key decisions behind the scenes.

Li described the former president as ‘complicit’ in the alleged cover-up, with a group of ‘puppet masters’ pulling the strings. She claimed that First Lady Jill Biden was deeply involved, with her actions constituting ‘elder abuse.’ Li emphasized her belief that Jill Biden knew the extent of the situation, stating, ‘There is no question in my mind.’ This comes as the House Oversight Committee has subpoenaed several senior officials for testimony on the matter, including Anthony Bernal, a former assistant to the president and senior advisor to the first lady, who has refused to appear for a deposition.

Li described Bernal as someone who ‘ran the White House like he was in charge,’ asserting that he had a significant role in the administration’s operations. The former DNC insider also highlighted the roles of other senior advisors, including deputy chief of staff Bruce Reed, counselor Steve Ricchetti, and senior advisors Anita Dunn and Mike Donilon, in the administration’s decision-making process. Li expressed frustration that some of these officials have evaded accountability, stating that Bernal’s name would ‘go down in infamy forever.’

Li’s allegations have drawn comparisons to the handling of the 2,000-page ‘autopen’ issue discussed by former domestic policy advisor Neera Tanden during her testimony before the House Oversight Committee. Tanden detailed her role in managing the use of the autopen, which was used to sign documents on Biden’s behalf when his cognitive function was in question. Li noted that Tanden’s statements mirrored Jill Biden’s demeanor following Biden’s poor debate performance, suggesting a pattern of cover-up efforts within the administration.

Li also described how Jill Biden took a central role in the campaign, especially when Biden was unable to attend events. She stated that Jill’s presence was ‘acting like the president or the presidential candidate,’ which contributed to her being featured on the cover of Vogue multiple times. Li suggested that Jill’s ego and Hunter Biden’s freedom were two factors that influenced Biden’s decision to run for re-election, despite the challenges he faced during the 2024 campaign.

Bidens’ former domestic policy advisor, Neera Tanden, testified for hours before the House Oversight Committee about her knowledge of the autopen and its use. Li criticized the administration for allowing such a system when the president’s cognitive function was compromised. She emphasized that the administration’s cover-up efforts stretched back to the 2020 election, with campaign managers making statements about the legal implications of dropping out of the race.

When asked about the allegations, a former Biden official reportedly responded with, ‘Who is Lindy Li?’ suggesting a lack of acknowledgment or interest in engaging with the former insider’s claims. The case has now taken a new turn with the House Oversight Committee’s efforts to subpoena key officials for their testimony, leading to further scrutiny of the administration’s handling of Biden’s cognitive function throughout his presidency.
