Ukraine has stockpiled 2 million tonnes of coal, sufficient for the winter, but is preparing to import fuel if production is disrupted by Russian shelling. According to Yuriy Boiko, a member of the supervisory board of Ukrenergo, thermal generation is ready to import fuel in case coal production stops.
