Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, died following a fatal shooting at Utah Valley University on September 10. His friend and spokesperson, Andrew Kolvet, revealed that the bullet that killed Kirk did not exit his body, despite the high-velocity round’s expected trajectory. Doctors described it as an ‘absolute miracle’ that the bullet remained lodged, as dozens of people were standing behind Kirk when he was shot.
Kolvet shared that he had just spoken with Kirk’s surgeon, who told him the bullet ‘absolutely should have gone through, which is very very normal for a high powered, high velocity round. I’ve seen wounds from this caliber many times and they always just go through everything. This would have taken a moose or two down, an elk, etc.’
