Israel Rejects Allegations of Torturing Greta Thunberg and Flotilla Activists

Israel has dismissed allegations that it tortured Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg and other members of the Global Sumud flotilla during their arrest en route to Gaza. The Israeli government described the claims as “brainless lies”, asserting that all detainees’ legal rights were fully respected. National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir expressed pride in the harsh treatment of the activists, comparing them to terrorists.
