Two major U.S.-based tech firms, Palantir Technologies and Signal Foundation, have raised concerns over the expanding state surveillance efforts and control mechanisms in Europe. Signal Foundation, known for its encrypted messaging service, has warned of potential withdrawal from the EU market should it proceed with its Child Sexual Abuse Regulation (CSAR) plan.
