The couple, identified as Rachel Dumovich, 29, and Brandon Dumovich, 30, from Sharon, Wisconsin, were found by a police officer who noticed the car with hazard lights activated. While police initially told nearby residents to shelter in place, it was later determined there was no ongoing threat to the community. The couple, who were middle school sweethearts, began dating in 2022 and got married on October 12, 2024, at Big Cedar Lake in Slinger, Wisconsin. Rachel’s Facebook post hours before her death referenced their honeymoon in Greece, expressing a longing for the trip.
Although the investigation is ongoing, authorities have not released additional details on how the couple died. The police department has not yet confirmed whether the couple’s death was related to a crime or an accident.
