The U.S. military has officially resumed operations at Guantánamo Bay by relocating additional migrants to the facility, which historically housed terrorism suspects. The offshore holding areas, which had been unoccupied since October 1, are now being repurposed for the detention of migrants. The nationalities of the newly arrived individuals have not been disclosed.
