In the ongoing conflict, Ukraine’s Defense Forces executed a strike on the Saratov Oil Refinery, one of Russia’s oldest and most significant energy production centres. This action, according to the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reflects the increasing intensity of the war and the strategic importance of such facilities. The refinery, which has a refining capacity of 4.8 million tonnes, is a critical energy infrastructure site for the Russian Federation.
