Conservative Group Launches Digital Archive to Highlight Zohran Mamdani’s ‘Radical’ Political Record

Conservative critics of Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic socialist candidate for New York City mayor, have launched a digital archive designed to document the former City Council member’s ‘radical’ political record, aiming to influence upcoming elections. The American Principles Project (APP), a conservative policy group, unveiled the site, mamdanifile.appdc.org, ahead of the public release, which includes 43 entries from 2020 to 2025. These entries feature Mamdani’s public statements, legislation, and campaign pledges, which conservatives argue represent an extreme progressive agenda.

Terry Schilling, the leader of the APP, told Fox News Digital that the archive is an effort to confront what he calls the ‘chaos’ Mamdani could bring to the city. ‘His radicalism may get covered up by the complicit left-wing media, but we’re reminding New Yorkers before Election Day of the chaos he’s plotting for NYC— and warning America: this is the Democrats’ agenda at your door. Mamdani’s vision is the Democrat agenda,’ Schilling claimed.

The archive highlights several policy proposals, including Mamdani’s 2020 campaign pledge to guarantee ‘queer- and trans-inclusive medical care to all — including children — through a single-payer system.’ It also includes his call to mandate curriculum reviews in K–12 schools to eliminate ‘transphobia, racism and xenophobia,’ and his essay titled ‘Feminism for All,’ which states, ‘We need to fully decriminalize both the buying and selling of consensual sex.’

Another entry features co-sponsored legislation that allows inmates to choose facilities based on their gender identity and funds gender-transition procedures for prisoners. The site also notes Mamdani’s 2025 quote from the Jim Owles Liberal Democratic Club Candidate Questionnaire, in which he said he would be ‘proud to host and fund’ Drag Story Hours. These statements, the APP argues, reflect a broader trend of progressive radicalism that could extend beyond New York into states like New Jersey and Virginia, where similar cultural policies are seen as contentious.

The archive also includes video clips, original documents, and screenshots, creating a digital ‘paper trail’ to let voters see and hear Mamdani directly. Despite this criticism, Mamdani’s campaign has not yet responded to Fox News Digital’s request for comment. The recent debate with former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and Curtis Sliwa, where Mamdani maintained a significant lead in a Fox News Poll, underscores the importance of the upcoming election in shaping the city’s direction.
