Army Veteran Gains New Hope Through Grey Team’s Suicide Prevention Program after Critical Near-Death Experience

Retired Army Sgt. 1st Class William Mosketti, now living in Florida after moving from North Carolina, has regained his hope and purpose in life through Grey Team’s suicide prevention program. His journey, which he describes as ‘monumental,’ began after seeing a Fox News report about the veteran nonprofit earlier this year. The report sparked a life-changing decision for Mosketti, who had reached the brink of death after a suicide attempt.

Mosketti, who served 26 years in the U.S. Army Special Forces, experienced the unseen toll of his service, including traumatic memories that he could no longer manage. Eventually, he attempted suicide and was revived by medical personnel. After witnessing the Fox News report, he reached out to Grey Team, a decision that he credits as saving his life. ‘When I saw Grey Team on Fox News about six or seven months ago, I thought,
