Pro Wrestling Star Mansoor Celebrates Dick Cheney’s Death and Zohran Mamdani’s NYC Victory

Pro wrestling star Mansoor, whose real name is Mansoor Al-Shehail, took to social media on Tuesday to express his views on recent events. In a post, he celebrated the death of former Vice President Dick Cheney and the election of Zohran Mamdani as New, York City mayor. The post, which included a photo featuring current TNA Wrestling star Mustafa Ali and a T-shirt with the face of WWE legend The Great Khali, was met with both support and criticism from the public.

Mansoor, who has performed in WWE, All Elite Wrestling, and other promotions around the world, was also named one of the top 500 singles wrestlers by Pro Wrestling Illustrated in 2021. His social media post, which claimed “DICK CHENEY IS DEAD AND A MUSLIM IS MAYOR OF NYC WE UP,” sparked mixed reactions on social media platforms.

The death of Dick Cheney was announced early Tuesday morning, following a prolonged illness. He was 84 years old, and his family stated that he passed away due to complications of pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease. Cheney, who served as Vice President under President George W. Bush during the 9/11 terror attacks and the subsequent Iraq and Afghanistan Wars, left behind a legacy that continues to be debated in political circles.

Meanwhile, Zohran Mamdani’s election as New York City mayor marked a significant shift in the city’s political landscape. The democratic socialist ran against former Governor Andrew Cuomo and Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa, a race that drew fierce political battle. Despite the controversy, Mamdani’s victory speech included a direct appeal to former President Donald Trump, who had expressed criticism of the race.
