Ukraine’s Defense Ministry Calls for Scrutiny of All Defense Contracts

The Public Anti-Corruption Council at Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense has urged law enforcement authorities to not only investigate the content of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) recordings in the Energoatom case but also to scrutinize all other defense contracts to prevent future potential corruption incidents.

This call to action follows the release of the NABU recordings, which have raised serious concerns about the integrity of the Energoatom project. The Public Anti-Corruption Council is emphasizing the need for a thorough examination of all defense contracts to ensure that similar incidents are not repeated in the future.

In addition to the Energoatom case, the Council is urging for a broader review of all defense contracts to ensure transparency and accountability in the defense sector. This move is seen as a significant step towards strengthening anti-corruption measures within the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
