Netanyahu Reveals Israel’s Knowledge of Iran’s Uranium Movements

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that Israel possesses significant intelligence on the location of Iran’s enriched uranium, following recent US airstrikes on key nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.

During a press briefing, Netanyahu confirmed that Israel is aware of Iran’s 400 kilograms of 60% enriched uranium, though he declined to provide further specifics, highlighting the material’s critical role in Iran’s nuclear program. The prime minister also noted that the US strike on Fordow, utilizing bunker-buster munitions, caused damage, though the full impact remains uncertain. Netanyahu stated Israel’s actions were prompted by Iran’s accelerated push toward nuclear weaponization following the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and its expansion of missile capabilities. He asserted that Israel is ‘very close’ to achieving its objectives in countering Iran’s nuclear and missile threats, emphasizing that the operation will cease once these goals are met. Iran has denied pursuing nuclear weapons, with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirming that Iran’s enriched uranium reserves continue to grow, though they remain below weapons-grade levels. Tehran has blamed Israel for fabricating threats to justify military action and warned of a firm response to further aggression.
