Teens are facing deadly consequences as they participate in the viral ‘Door Kick Challenge’ on TikTok, terrorizing homeowners across California and Florida, according to police warnings. This dangerous trend, which has gained renewed attention, has resulted in multiple arrests and significant damage to the property of innocent homeowners.

Home surveillance footage has captured a group of masked California teenagers engaging in the prank, where they run up to a stranger’s home and kick the front door as hard as they can before retreating. The Elk Grove Police Department has reported at least eight incidents and five arrests in the past month, with two 13-year-olds recently charged after causing more than $680 in damage to a homeowner’s front door.

Additionally, three juveniles were taken into custody earlier this month for their alleged involvement in the prank. In Florida, authorities noted another incident where a homeowner suffered $900 worth of damage to their doorframe, which could potentially result in felony charges, with the possibility of parents being held responsible for the financial consequences of their child’s actions.
