A North Dakota-based corporation, which previously secured a substantial legal victory against Greenpeace, has petitioned a local court to intervene and halt a countersuit that is currently being pursued in the Netherlands. The countersuit, which was filed by Greenpeace, aims to challenge an earlier court ruling that found the company liable for its involvement in demonstrations against the Dakota Access Pipeline project in 2016.
