St. Petersburg has launched an innovative AI initiative to combat the risks posed by icicles during the winter season. The city’s new system, named Gorodovoy, comprises eight autonomous patrol vehicles equipped with advanced sensors. These vehicles traverse the city’s streets, scanning buildings to identify and mitigate potential hazards caused by dangerously large icicles.
