An Oregon father, Chuck Gonzales, has expressed outrage over his 11-year-old son receiving a state survey that asks children to identify their sexual orientation and gender identity, calling it a violation of parental rights. Gonzales, who lives in Hillsboro, Oregon, discovered the survey through an online post, after which he downloaded the survey form and confirmed its content.
According to the survey, sixth, eighth, and eleventh grade students are being asked intrusive questions about their gender identity and sexual orientation.
