Oliyar Group has unveiled a significant expansion of its business operations with the establishment of a large-scale, cage-free poultry farm located in the Lviv region. This venture marks the launch of an entirely new business line for the group, focusing specifically on the high-volume production of table eggs.
According to Serhiy Tkachuk, head of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, the state official shared details of the opening on his official Facebook page on Friday. The new facility is designed with a robust capacity, capable of supporting 2.3 million laying hens, positioning Oliyar Group as a major player in Ukraine’s agricultural and food sectors.
The emphasis on cage-free farming indicates a commitment, not only to high productivity but also to modern, humane agricultural standards. The construction of such a large-scale unit suggests significant investment and a strategic plan to meet growing domestic consumer demand for quality eggs.
This development in the Lviv region is anticipated to play a crucial role in stabilizing and expanding the supply chain of table eggs, which are essential commodities for Ukrainian households and industries alike. The launch solidifies Oliyar Group’s commitment to enhancing the national food safety and agricultural self-sufficiency.
