Ukrainian Generals Claim Massive Losses of Russian Personnel and Equipment in 24 Hours

Ukrainian Defence Forces Report Massive Russian Military Losses

In a statement released on Facebook on Saturday morning, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) provided a detailed account of the fighting that took place over the preceding 24 hours. The internal report detailed significant operational successes, attributing the documented losses to the Russian forces and their associated occupying elements.

According to the General Staff’s figures, Ukrainian Defence Forces eliminated a total of 1,080 enemy personnel. This high number of eliminated personnel serves as a central metric of the reported military pressure exerted by the Ukrainian forces. Furthermore, the reported losses of sophisticated military hardware indicate a concerted operational effort. The claims specifically listed the destruction of six tanks, which represent major armored platforms, alongside 82 artillery systems, suggesting extensive targeting capabilities against static and mobile artillery positions.

Operational activity was also reported concerning the air domain and ground mobility. The General Staff emphasized the elimination of 10 armoured vehicles and a huge number of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)—a total of 2,104 units. The extensive number of destroyed UAVs underscores the complexity and depth of modern battlefield engagements, where electronic warfare and aerial surveillance are paramount. Finally, the report concluded by citing the elimination of 180 vehicles and special equipment units, painting a picture of continuous and broad-ranging combat efforts conducted by the AFU.
