Securing American Greatness, a pro-Trump non-profit, is launching part two of a major effort to push for the GOP’s sweeping tax cut bill, dubbed by Trump as his ‘big, beautiful bill.’ The group’s new national ad campaign, which will run for two weeks, includes spots on Fox News and targeted House districts, as well as streaming services. The ads, which feature slogans like ‘Good news for working families’ and ‘Tell Congress we need President Trump’s working family tax cuts,’ aim to rally support for the legislation, which passed the House by a single vote last month.
The bill, which includes Trump’s key policy priorities on tax cuts, immigration, and border security, is expected to fuel the nation’s already massive budget deficit. With the current national debt nearing $36.2 trillion, the measure faces significant criticism over its long-term financial implications. Democrats have also warned that passing the bill could hurt the GOP in the upcoming midterms, given its potential to alienate voters and shift public opinion against the party.
As part of the campaign, ads will run in Republican districts praising members who voted for the measure and in Democratic districts targeting lawmakers who opposed it. The effort is being led by key figures from Trump’s political orbit, including former campaign manager Chris LaCivita and top pollster Tony Fabrizio, who are also working with the Trump-aligned super PAC MAGA Inc. White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and Deputy Chief of Staff James Blair are also coordinating on the campaign’s strategy, underscoring the importance the administration places on passage of the measure.
With the July 4 deadline approaching for the bill to reach the White House, the ad campaign represents a critical phase in Trump’s push to secure the legislation. The political and economic stakes are high as Republicans navigate the midterms, and the outcome of this effort could have far-reaching implications for both the party and the nation’s fiscal health.
