FOX Corporation Launches Flood Relief Campaign in Response to Texas Disaster

Fox Corporation has launched a relief campaign in response to the devastating floods that struck Texas, resulting in at least 80 fatalities and leaving over 40 people missing. The company has donated to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country’s Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, which will allocate resources to organizations providing rescue, recovery, and flood assistance.

The disaster has also brought attention to the tragic loss of young girls and a camp counselor from Camp Mystic, a Christian summer camp in Kerr County located near the Guadalupe River. At least six girls and the camp counselor remain missing following the flash floods that tore through parts of central Texas on July 4. Texas Governor Greg Abbott emphasized the ongoing risks of flash floods and advised caution for affected regions, urging continued vigilance from the public.

Families of the missing, including Tara Bradburn, a mother of a 16-year-old girl who was rescued from Camp Mystic, have expressed devastation and gratitude for the efforts of rescuers. Bradburn told ‘Fox Report’ that the family is devastated by the destruction and deaths, insisting that the search for missing children must continue. ‘There are children out there that need to be found, and we want the EMS and national federal services and the state services to continue to stay on the job as they have said they are going to because we have children that need to be found and need to be reunited with their parents,’ Bradburn said.

Fox Corporation has also urged its viewers and readers to donate directly to relief efforts, providing links to an online donation portal and a QR code for easy access. The company has partnered with the Community Foundation to ensure that funds go to vetted organizations. Officials have called for continued search and rescue operations, with families and rescuers working together to recover the missing and provide aid to affected communities.
